Configure iOS Shortcut for Photos App
You can create a Shortcut on your iPhone or iPad to automatically download any social media video and save it directly to your Photos camera roll in one tap.
Create a New Shortcut
Open the Shortcuts app on iOS, tap the + icon to create a new shortcut, and rename it to "Download Video".
Enable Share Sheet
Tap the Shortcut Details (info icon) and toggle on Show in Share Sheet. Set it to accept URLs.
Add "Get Contents of URL" Action
Add the action Get Contents of URL. Set the URL to:
http://[YOUR-SERVER-IP-PORT]/api/download?url=ShortcutInput
[YOUR-SERVER-IP-PORT] with your actual server address (e.g. 192.168.1.10:8080 or your domain).
Add "Save to Photo Album" Action
Add the action Save to Photo Album and pass the output (the file returned from the previous step) as the input.
